Day 1.
Transfer from airport to hotel in Tbilisi.
City tour.
Visit fortress, Narikala complex, famous Tbilisi sulfur baths. Introduction to old neighborhoods of Tbilisi and modern architectural masterpiece — Peace Bridge and Rike Park.
Visit Sameba Cathedral, the symbol of Georgian rebirth, unity and immortality.
Visit Metekhi Temple — the visiting card of the city.
Walking through the streets and beautiful sites of the old city.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2.
Breakfast.
Departure to Mtskheta.
Excursion to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. This is a museum city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit ancient temple-monastery Dzhvari (VI cent.). On the top of the mountain where the temple is located, a fantastic view of the place of confluence of two rivers — the Kura and the Aragvi.
Visiting the Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli (1010-1029).
Wine tasting at Marani Guramishvili Wine Cellar.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 3.
Breakfast.
Excursion and wine tasting at KTW winery.
Transfer to Telavi.
Excursion around Telavi — main city and administrative center of Kakheti.
Visit to the main attraction of the city — Ethnographic Museum and the fortress of King Erekle II (XVIIIc).
Wine tasting at Shumi Wine Company. Master class on baking Georgian bread and churtskhela.
Visit to Alexander Chavchavadze house-museum.
Wine tasting.
Overnight in Telavi.
Day 4.
Breakfast.
Visiting medieval castle — the fortress of Gremi.
Visit to Nekresi monastery.
Visit and wine tasting at Khareba winery.
Sightseeing tour of Sighnaghi.
Visit history-ethnographic museum with exhibits from V millennium BC to XIX c. The museum also displays pictures of the famous Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 5.

City tour.
Visit «Holy Mountain» — this is how Mtatsminda mountain is called in Tbilisi. Here is the Pantheon, the burial place of the greatest personalities of Georgia. From the top of the platform, where the temple and the pantheon are located, you can enjoy stunning views of the city, which can be admired indefinitely. To get to the temple is quite easy — a funicular rises here from the city center. This is the middle station of the funicular, it is called — Pantheon (Griboyedov`s cemetery).
Optional visit to a wine restaurant (8000 vintage).

Day 6.

Important!
The state language in Georgia is Georgian, it is spoken by about 80% of the population, young people usually speak English.
The state currency is lari. Currency can be changed at a bank or at a currency exchange office. There are many and most of them are open 24/7. Do not exchange currency with your hands.
If you enter the territory of Georgia in a car, keep in mind the following: international insurance policies are not valid on the territory of Georgia (green card). Therefore, after passing the border, find the nearest point (office) of any insurance company and buy a Georgian policy. The policy can be bought in advance online. Car insurance in Georgia is mandatory.
Under Georgian law, Abkhazia and South Ossetia are considered occupied territories. Accordingly, by visiting these territories from the Russian side, you are breaking the law. Therefore, if at the border they ask you if you have been to Abkhazia or South Ossetia, feel free to answer “no”.
Everything is good with mobile communications in Georgia. The phone catches everywhere, even in the most remote areas. It is better to purchase a local or tourist SIM card. It will be cheaper than talking in roaming.
